I started receiving these at dialasys a year ago, they are hands down the best protein shakes EVER!! I started buying them for home use a few months ago. I will continue to do so. I started out with the Cafe Mocha flavored ones, because I am not a vanilla fan of anything, strawberry either, but I tried the strawberry one and that is the only one I drink now. Doesnt have that fakey strawberry taste.

Tasty way to add protein for patients on dialysis
My husband started peritoneal dialysis a year ago and struggled to get enough protein in his diet. He had a poor appetite, and meat was especially unappealing. The dialysis clinic gave us some samples of Novasource, and my husband started drinking it every day for lunch. His protein levels have been gradually improving since he started drinking Novasource. He still drinks it every day - and we know it is a safe food for renal diet because it is low in sodium, potassium, and phosphorus. His favorite flavor is strawberry.
