This is a great set of candles. The glass votives are really sturdy and can take some bumping around and you don't need to be gentle with them. They are filled with a soft white wax and they burn clean, and do not leave a black residue on the edge if the wick gets long so you don't have to worry throughout your party or whatever you are doing that the candles will get gross on the inside. The wicks lit easily. These would be great for events of any kind where you would want candles. I happen to have candles everywhere and use them daily. You could just burn them all alone, but I stick mine in all kinds of decor. I tuck them in wine glasses filled with coffee beans (smells great), in larger jars filled with glass beads or whatever filler you might want to use. The glass votive will disappear into any kind of filler you want. I think this is a great set of candles. For me, the unscented is nice because I have terrible allergies. All in all, I highly recommend.
