Sterilite White Polypropylene Ice Cube Tray

It's a classic ice try, not to fragile, does the job well

We love ice! I make 8 trays about 3 times a week for the two of us. We use it in drinks everyday. I have strong ice-opinions (though to each their own). We've had two models of ice-trays, with slightly different shapes, that don't stack well, so I'm replacing with all Sterilite. I looked around for ice trays in stores, and the varieties I found made cubes that were relatively small, which is NOT what I want. My husband brought home some Sterilite trays (of which we already had four) and they were exactly what we needed. Of course, I should have looked at what we had currently first, but it was good to realize their virtues by looking at some competition. The reviews mentioning durability are not without merit, as two trays have cracked for me and I'm replacing them. But we do SERIOUS ice, overfilled trays each time because I want a high ice-yield. I think I use them as hard as most people would, and we've had them for about 8 years. They're recyclable, so I don't feel bad about replacing them as needed (this is my first replacement due to breakage). I get the ice cubes AS I LIKE THEM, and the trays stack well. This is very adequate satisfaction for me, even if they're not indestructible.
