Great pastry disappearing!

Decades ago one could buy this in any grocery store along with all the other products (bear claws, angel wings, anisette) Now they have all but disappeared. Very few stores carry them. Do not know why.

These are not overly almond tasting. They are the perfect breakfast cookie with a cup of coffee. They do crumble pretty easy....and very addicting. They are a little like potato chips and you can't just eat one.
