Handling Guidelines for Safe Use: As with all food products, care should be taken in storing and handling. Keep all products in a cool, dry place. Always keep product in the sealed bag before and after serving. Wash hands and bowls with soap and hot water. If you add water to our product, remove any leftovers and discard after 2 hours.
Feeding Instructions
Recommended Daily Feeding Guidelines: When Used as a Mixer/Topper: Simply fill a 1/4 c. measuring cup, mix with other food you may be feeding, and serve. Meal Mixers can be fed to your pet dry, or rehydrated by adding 2 tablespoons of cool or warm water per 1/4 cup of food. Your pet will love the added taste, and you can be confident about the added nutrition Meal Mixers deliver. We recommend the following portions based on the size of your dog: Number of 1/4 Cup Scoops Per Day (When mixed with other food(a)): Small Dogs (Up to 20 lbs.): 1 scoop per day. Medium Dogs (21-40 lbs.): 2 scoops day. Large Dogs (Over 40 lbs.): 3+ scoops per day. When Used as a Complete & Balanced Meal: Meal Mixers meet the nutritional requirements to be fed as a complete and balanced meal for all dogs to use as a meal, serve as is, or rehydrate by adding cool or warm water. If your dog does not regularly drink water at mealtime, we recommend rehydrating by adding 1/2 cup of water per 1 cup of food. If your dog prefers dry food, always have ample fresh water available at mealtime. The table below shows the number of measuring cups to feed each day based on a pet�s weight. Number of Cups Per Day (When used as a complete meal): Body Weight (lbs.): 5; Adult # of Cups: 1/2. Body Weight (lbs.): 10; Adult # of Cups: 1. Body Weight (lbs.): 15; Adult # of Cups: 1-1/4. Body Weight (lbs.): 20; Adult # of Cups: 1-1/2. Body Weight (lbs.): 40; Adult # of Cups: 2-1/2. Body Weight (lbs.): 60; Adult # of Cups: 3-1/2. Body Weight (lbs.): 80; Adult # of Cups: 4-1/4. Body Weight (lbs.): 100; Adult # of Cups: 5. Please not these are guidelines, and individual requirements can vary by +/- 50% based on your pet�s activity level, metabolism, age, general health, and other factors. More information on feeding guidelines is also available on our website. New Users: Always transition any new food by slowly mixing with your current diet for the first 7-10 days, increasing the amount of Stella & Chewy�s while decreasing the amount of other food. Puppies may need up to twice the amount of food as listed for an adult dog. For pregnant and nursing dogs, please check with your veterinarian as requirements vary depending on the number of puppies and stage of lactation. Fresh water should be available at all times. Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please use the feeding guidelines as an initial recommendation and adjust amount as needed to reach desired weight goal. Ridiculous Price Next to Nothing in Bag
My sister in law brought these and my little guys loved them and seek them out every night for a treat. I had no idea how expensive they were at $85.00 for 33 oz. I got the next smaller size which arrived today and I swear there are 4 cups of stuff in this giant bag. It's pathetic.
