Par excellence !

I have over 10 Dutch ovens, many of them made by Staub. Naturally, I'd like to use a Staub made holder as well. This one is superbly made with heavy cast iron. It is solid and could handle lids as wide as 33cm. I never need to worry about the lid falling off. Cleaning is easy.

This is a NEED!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) In the past 4 weeks, I collected 4 Staub already (!!!!???). And THIS is not something you want if you have 2 or 3 cocottes -- this something you are going to NEED! its so handy and made everything around you clean with no water dripping everywhere. Thank you for such a wonderful, minimalist design Staub! Your engineers rock!!! BTW, this can take any amount of cast iron lid weight.

Worth Every Penny

I do not like putting hot lids on a towel, the cooktop or counter. This is a genius invention that collects any excess moisture, keeps the hot lid safely out of the way and most importantly, keeps the underside clean by not exposing it to unwanted contaminants on other surfaces. As with all Staub cast iron products, it is well made, heavy and very stable.
