Even without plugging this in, the plush blankets are comfy and provide a toasty experience. My cats love stretching out on them. The low setting is marvelous gentle heat while the high setting will warm you quickly if you've been outside or taking snow off an RV roof. I bought the 2 pack and gave one to my brother in case of a power outage. We have a volt power source so we'll be warm and cozy. Thank you so much for this product. The only complaint I have is this: it can't go in a washing machine, but I do know how to spot clean something.
