I bought this for a new kitten who only weighs about 2lbs. She had a hard time figuring out how to get in and out at first, especially pushing the door out to exit. The magnetic tip made it easy to keep the door and lid off until she got used to it. Then I paid attention to help her in and out a few times and it works like a charm. I bought it to minimize mess and smell and to keep my curious toddler out of the litter. The toddler still wants to open the door but it provides a barrier between litter and little hands so I have time to respond and redirect before anything gross happens!

Excellent I suggest buying another cat litter mat though the smaller one provided doesn't keep litter off the surrounding area from the entrance. I like to center mine so the provided mat is completely and simply not big enough for that. Deep and covered as shown it keeps litter inside especially if you have a cat that's messy and throws the litter out of a non covered normal litter box. For smells it works wonders however I wish it provided 2 odor neutralizers rather than 1. Haven't had to deep clean it yet so can't speak to that. Large enough for 1 adult cat (alone) and 2 kittens . The cat may need to adjust to the door. At first they couldn't figure out that they could get out and I had to put them in there a few times for them to figure out it's a potty spot that they could go in and out of. This includes a potty scooper, mini cleaning brush, small litter mat, small circular non slip stick on pads. Metal base, slot to hang potty scooper, tray and slot to hold potty bags with a starter roll inside, and a plastic top with door attached (top is pre assembled no need to attach the door). Takes less than 3 min to setup/fully assemble.
