Within 5 minutes of opening up the package the QC issues were very clear, especially due to the furry fabric. The fur itself feels a bit cheap in quality, which is not a major issue as I purchased it for about $16. The issue is that the long fur gets caught in between the stitching, and the fibers aren't strong enough to withstand being lightly pulled out from between the stitches likely without being torn in the process. I did painstakingly try and remove the fibers really carefully in between the stitchings, which then made the baldness/sparseness of the fabric really clear, especially along the back. The fabric underneath the fur has a slight sheen too, so the sparse areas shine under any source of light and emphasizes the baldness, which is especially a shame when a lot of the baldness is pretty obvious right around the face. The issue with the body is the stitching itself. There are random folds that cannot be fixed from moving around the foam due to the bad stitching keeping the folds basically in place no matter what. The off-center seam at the bottom (squissy) was the cherry on top. This is my first Squishmallow, and I just feel completely turned off from the brand and will not be purchasing again.
