It only has a digital cable - No hdmi so it was connected straight to the tv - works great good decent sound / and decent bass and the back speakers are connected to a modem that works great from across the room - took a lil to connect though but otherwise for my kids room works great

He said he didn't even need to use the subwoofer but added it anyway to keep the sound balanced. It's expensive but worth every penny.
