Elkay EZH2O Water Bottle Refilling Station Retrofit Kit For EMABF Water Fountains

I purchased 1 of these for the break room of my business to replace a dedicated water cooler (I already had the drinking fountain) and had it installed in April 2019. I am now purchasing PN 98543C, which is all of the electronics for the unit which costs almost 1/2 of what the bottle filler costs in the first place. My plumber says the control board is getting power, but the not sending power to the sensor or releasing water, and the control board is not available individually, it is part of the complete electronics package. I had not yet reached 10,000 bottles saved on the counter on the unit. It was an unfortunate time for it to die as right now I am not supposed to have the fountain portion accessible due to COVID. If I were to do it again, I would get a bar faucet and plumb it into the chilled line of the fountain, like I did on my fully stainless fountains that Elkay did not make bottle fillers for (photo attached). I would lose the bragging rights of how many bottles I've saved and no-contact, but gain reliability. Between service calls, installation, and parts, I did not come out ahead compared to what a water service was costing me, nor do I have the convenience of disposable bottles.
