K9 Advantix II helps defend your dog against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, and lice. Simpler than a flea collar and troublesome pills, this vet-recommended topical formula works within 12 hours of initial application, killing adult fleas on contact to stop existing flea infestations and prevent new ones. Once K9 Advantix II is applied, your dog is ready to get right back to the things it loves most. K9 Advantix II pest protection is effective on both indoor and outdoor dogs. Your dog should be at least 7 weeks old and weigh 11-20 lbs. to use K9 Advantix II Medium Dog. K9 Advantix II Medium Dog is a trademark of Elanco or its affiliates.

The product label states: Causes eye irritation. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Avoid contact with skin. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling.
People with known hypersensitivity to benzyl alcohol, moxidectin, or imidacloprid should administer the product with caution.
IF IN EYES: Hold eyelids open and flush with copious amounts of water for 15 minutes. If eye irritation develops or persists, contact a physician.
IF SWALLOWED: Call poison control center or physician immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or physician.
IF ON SKIN: Take off contaminated clothing and wash affected skin immediately with plenty of soap and water. Call a poison control center or physician for treatment advice. In case of allergic reaction, contact a physician.
Do not allow children or other animals to come into contact with treated animals until the application area is completely dry.
Disposable gloves are not required (not mentioned on label), but they may be considered when applying this medication.
Must NOT be used on cats or in households with cats. Permethrin is toxic to cats.

The combination of imidacloprid, permethrin, and pyriproxyfen (K9 Advantix® II) is licensed by the US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for prevention and treatment of fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, and chewing lice for monthly use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older. You and your veterinarian can discuss why this drug is the most appropriate choice.

I have been using the Advantix II since its inception. Because we live in a Forest with wildlife abound, this product is essential for keeping our canines free of fleas %26 ticks. Amazing product really works
I've used frontline plus four years with good results until this year. After trying several other products that hasn't worked I had to find something that did. My yorkie has flea allergies and was constantly scratching and had to be put on predizone! I went online and found the best rated flea product was k9 Advantix II, within 12 hours of application I only found one dead flea on my yorkie and none on my sheltie! Dogs are happy and mamas happy. I redose them every three weeks as the box directions reads you can. This seams to have put a stop to our flea problem! And my yorkie no longer needs prednisone for flea bites. Hope it works as well on your pets.

My groomer recommended the K9Advantix because I was having no luck with the oral flea treatment. I live i a very dark wooded area and it has been extremely wet this spring. Fleas are thriving. But my dogs so love to run in the yard and especially while I am in the garden. In less than two weeks my two small dogs and the house are flea free. VERY PLEASED.
