Chauvet DJ Nimbus Dry Ice Machine

This is the 2nd nimbus fog machine that I have owned in the past two years. They have both worked as described but in my opinion are significantly overpriced for what they are. An extremely simple plastic storage tank with a heating element and very basic manual lever, hinges. You must purchase a rolling cart separately which for $1,300 should be included. Also a drain would be nice considering you must dump the water out of the same outlet hole the fog comes out. Another significant downside is the time it takes to initially heat the water, 1 hour if you only use one plug and 30 minutes if you use both plugs. They are very popular for dancing on the clouds, haunted houses, concerts/plays. A friend has a knockoff version that cost under $500 and works just as good but is only half the size. (It heats the water in 12 minutes!
