Usable right out of the box
Pros: Clear instruction manual included. Easy to use right out of the box, even with no or little experience. Point and shoot with auto focus. Good price for the bundle I purchased. Cons: Going to take some time to learn all the bells and whistles. (But will probably be worth it.) Heavier camera than I am used to. Other thoughts: Previously used a Kodak Z710, a great camera for snapshots. However, I am ready to advance and looked a long time before deciding on the Nikon. Took photos of the grandkids on carnival rides with the auto focus feature. Pictures are sharp and clear-no blur. Colors are true to life. Looking forward to trying out the other lenses and special effects.
