The PM3 I received was a black finished blade peel-ply G10. I have a number of Spyderco knives and this one sure seems like a genuine one. The knife itself is phenomenal. As a southpaw, I only wish they made a lefty version of the knife. Ergonomics, cutting, etc are all quite good here!!!
