Fresh Potted Basil, 1 Each

I ordered basil one time and it was substituted with this plant. I tore off all of the leaves, so it looked dead, but on a whim, i continued to water the plant. The leaves all grew back and i ended up planting the plant in my garden. It grew so large and vibrant and tasted amazing! Lasted the whole gardening season! I will continue to order this from now on and plant it in my garden every year. (I am not sure why there are such bad reviews. I thought maybe it was from people who ordered in the off season, but i ordered again today (11/25/2025) and it looks just as good as the last time i got it! If you're like me and always check reviews before you order, i promise I've had great experiences with this basil plant! I wish I had a picture from my garden!

I'm sorry about all those who got dead plants. I was buying “fresh” basil in the tiny plastic clamshell that was outrageously priced and never fresh. I finally decided to try the plant. It was delivered this morning and it is small, but healthy sad can be. Bright green, fragrant, love it. Don't blame the order picker. I was ordering fresh cilantro and other fresh fruit that were just awful when they arrived. I went to the store and checked out the produce they sent me. Every single thing was even worse than the one that was delivered. I think the pickers DO try and find the best item for you, but if that's what they have to choose from? That's on Walmart, not the picker.
