I can't take statin prescription drugs and tried this on the advice of my neighbor. Had my blood tested for cholestoral a few weeks ago (after taking this for 7 months) and my cholesterol is normal!! You should take Co Q 10 when you take this (or any statin medication), though, so I ordered Qunol from Wal Mart, too. I bought 4 month supply of Red Yeast Rice and Qunol for myself and for my neighbor (as thank you for telling me about Red Yeast Rice).
