This is a staple on our grocery list. Our doctor recommended taking the niacin to help increase the HDL cholesterol levels. We find this brand to be one of the best values. Make sure you get the flush free version as niacin can have a tendency to give your face a red flush or hot appearance. You should definitely consult your doctor before adding this as a supplement! Unfortunately, there's nothing that oversees the quality of supplements, so there's no way of knowing if this brand is any better than others, but it is generally the best price choice.
