Must be placed just right in a size 1 to not come up the diaper front or back, which is difficult with a wiggly baby but possible. Fits without issue in size 2. We have been using these nightly for several months now without any leaks. Prior to use we had to change baby's diaper once a night, now we can wait until the morning.
