The hitch pin bolt is designed for use with SportRack's 1.25" and 2" hitch mounted bike racks SR2901, SR2902, SR2703, SR2704, SR2604, SR2403, SR2404 and SR9850. The item also comes with two keys so that you can have a backup or give a spare to a family member or friend. The bike rack hitch lock allows you to quickly lock your bike onto the bike rack so you don't have to worry about thieves. The set is well-suited to use on campus, around town and at home, or if you have to leave your bike outdoors. SportRack is a member of the Thule Group of companies and began manufacturing ski racks in 1980 for the mass automotive retail industry. I wanted a lock for a XC2 Swagman bike rack. What I did not know was that the bike locks on any Swagman bike rack are proprietary. Therefore this lock and any lock not made by Swagman will not work. I had to return this lock.

Great deal and works great with 2" Hitch
Did not know if it would work with my 3 bike rack and it does perfectly. Works in the 2" hitch of my Dodge pick up with no issues. I did have to remove one of the washers and repalce it with a thinner one so it can reach the other side. Otherwise secures the rack in place. Wish the factory could only have added like less then 1/4in more for breathing room, but otherwise works.
