So, my dog is almost 1 1/2 yrs old, very rowdy, very playful. She's figured out, she's faster than we are. Got this trying collar & the bark collar for the back yard. She barks nonstop outside. Neighbor has complained. The bark collar has taught her not to bark & that there's other ways to communicate. Growl, whine. No more barking in the yard. We moved on to the training collar. Had it set to 4, after testing on her to get a reaction at lowest setting. She was being wild and destructive, I zapped her for about a second,(counting one one thousand), she yelped and stopped. That's all. From now on, we put either collar on her, and she calms right down. If a delivery guy comes, she growls ferociously, no barking. We have her wear either collar for 2 hrs at most. The training collar doesn't automatically zap for barking but she doesn't know that. She is overall more obedient now, even without a collar on. Not perfect but a lot better. So yes I'd recommend SportDog collars to anyone!

This product allows our dog the opportunity to roam, sniff, run and pretty much the freedom to be what her nature is. Very happy we decided to try this system.
