Not Very Bright

I purchased this for use in a large aquarium housing two turtles. This was a replacement for a bulb of same wattage, just a different spectrum. Unfortunately, this bulb did not stimulate plant growth, nor did it provide adequate light to view aquarium. I think I need to find another bulb that is full spectrum.
