Best Midrange for 2024
I will start off with letting everyone know I did an absurd amount of research on this TV before purchasing. I read and watched multiple opinion pieces and reviews, compared in aggressively to the U8K, and did multiple in store comparisons before purchasing. I had a 4 year old Bravia OLED before this, so I knew it had some large shoes to fill. I dont regret my decision one bit. Stunning TV. The color, contrast, and motion exceeded my expectations. The level of picture control is a welcome addition. The remote is very comfortable, and the motion activated backlight is a very nice touch Sports and Video games are handled very well, although you will have to tune the motion settings a bit to smooth it out. The brightness is like nothing I have ever seen before. It's beautiful. The fact that the dimming handles that intense brightness, and still delivers almost OLED level blacks with extremely little blooming (much less than the Hisense competition), is an absolute marvel. My only true complaint would have to be the sound. It's adequate, and it will get the job done for most rooms, but the quality of the sound does not live up to the image on screen. Do yourself a favor and get a solid sound bar, and you wont have any issues.
