APC 8 Port Multi-Platform Analog KVM - KVM switch - 8 ports

This product works great except the usb port where you use a usb mouse/or keyboard. At the moment I am using a ps/2 keyboard and a usb mouse. The mouse runs like hay-wire, as if it was on steroids... way too fast and it's hard to click on anything. I have used 2-3 different brands of usb mice with same results, emails to Tripp Lite only gets you a courtesy reply by email asking you to call customer support and everyone knows what it's like trying to get a live person to speak without all the automation/voice mail junk. There's a good chance this KVM product would work perfect if I was using a ps/2 mouse as well as the keyboard. All said I needed this product and the kvm custom cables that you can order with it is perfect for what I needed at varied lengths. Perhaps I just got stuck with one that had a bad usb port in the batch is all , everything else works great !
