Best deal on garlic! Tons of uses!
This is my go to for garlic. You get a ton of fresh bulbs. I like to take about 3/4 the bag and separate the cloves which is easily done by lightly smacking them with the bottom of a can, a mallet, or using my palm on top of a sideways knife. Then they all go into my food processor with a touch of olive oil. I usually finely chop half, and purée the other half. Then I just fill up a silicone “gumdrop” shape candy mold, or you can use a silicone ice cube tray. Freeze, and then put them into a ziplock bag in the freezer. Instant fresh tasting garlic anytime! You can also leave some garlic in the processor and add soft butter, and whatever fresh herbs you want. I bought a handy metal butter bar mold and then freeze, remove, and wrap in parchment. Perfect for warm breads or on top of juicy steaks. Also awesome in fresh steamed vegetables! So many options for a bag of garlic at a great price!

My 20 oz bag of Garlic cloves were just what I wanted. I needed about 18 ounces for fermentation and these cloves were large. I am still experimenting with my recipe so I don't know how they will turn out.
