Karaoke microphone works okay

I guess I'm happy with this purchase. I just should have paid more attention to the description before I ordered it online. I tried to buy one in the store, but they didn't have any available. Online only. I wanted it to use on my computer, and I didn't notice when I ordered it that the plug at the end was too large to fit in my computer microphone jack. This was easily enough remedied by buying a converter plug to make it work.

Did not meet expectations.

I would have given this a lower rating, but I haven't tried the microphone on anything but one piece of equipment, and I can't say for 100 percent that it's the equipment's fault instead of the microphones. So I give it the benefit of doubt, and say average. You have to nearly have the microphone in your mouth for it to pick up sound. There was an adjustment on the kids Karoke machine for echo. When I turned that up, then the microphone picked up extremely well from up to 4 inches or so away. The problem is of course you are echoing. If the microphone picked up half as well without the echo, then I'd be very happy. If I had another item to plug it into and test it separately, then I could be sure if its a very poor quality mic or not. If I find out differently when I spend some more time with it, I will update my review or post another one to fix this review.

For the kids

I purchased this for my kids to use because the price was right for me. It's been holding up to them dropping it and I think the sound is great.
