Directions for Use: **Fill: Special Kitty Fragrance Free Natural Clay Cat Litter into a clean litter box to cover the bottom - between 3-5 inches. **Maintain: It is recommended that you clean out soiled waste areas at least once a day. **Refresh: Weekly, or as needed, completely replace all used litter, refilling cleaned litter box with unused litter to a depth of 3-5 inches. **Encouraging your cat to use an indoor litter box, or properly disposing of outdoor cat feces, is beneficial to overall water quality. Please do not flush cat litter in toilets or dispose of it in gutters or storm drains. Always remember to wash hands with soap and water after cleaning the litter box or handling used cat litter. **CAUTION: Cat feces can sometimes transmit a disease called Toxoplasmosis. Pregnant women or individuals with a compromised immune system should be cautious when cleaning the litter box. Consult your physician for further questions.

i only use clay litter. the clumping stuff NEVER goes away. someone brought me some. the package spilled. we could never clean it up. over a year later it was still clogging up my flowerbed next to my gate. we had to excavate and take it to local dump. clay is environmentally safe. a d cheaper. this brand is not as dusty as others i have tried. also good to keep a bag in trunk of car for thisxwinter weather. if i slide it provides traction to get me put of stuck in snow times.

This product is the most reasonably priced cat litter available and it is the reason why we buy it. However, it could be made better by the manufacturer to reduce the excessive amount of dust it produces. I've brought this to their attention before, but nothing has ever been done to IMPROVE the dust issue!
