Great for the non pate cats!
The Special Kitty Poultry and Gravy wet cuts are, in my humble opinion, a great choice for budget minded cat lovers who have cats that aren't interested in pate style food. at first it took a couple of rounds for my meows to come around on the chicken, which there are 20 cans of in the 40 pack, 10 are turkey which they loved from the beginning as well as 10 of the beef. I now use both this and the pate 40ct mix for all 5 of my cats and they seem to enjoy all of the flavors and textures between the 5 of them. For the price, and for the times, this is the absolute best deal i could find for wet food that my cats will eat without hassle. The bits / morsels are just the right size for my cats to eat without making a mess of their little faces, and 2 cans feeds 5 with dry food always out all the time. None if my cats are overweight as far as the veterinarian is concerned, so in my opinion this food is just right for my family.

My cats love this cat food. They are very picky outdoor cats, and they devour this shreds cat food. The shreds are a lot bigger than the Frisk competitor brand and it's not mainly gravy in the can. . Walmart wasn't shipping special kitty brand for a while, but I'm glad, and so are my cats, that they started shipping it again!

Good Quality Lower Cost Canned Cat Food
I use this product as a filler along with a name brand cat food to feed my large cat population. Adding Special Kitty helps lower my overall cost which is very helpful. The overall quality of this item is quite good and my cats seem to gobble it up so they must think it's good. Cats have a way of telling you what they like and don't like and mine say they like. My only problem with this item is not the product itself but the availability. Every time I go to the store to stock up I never know if this item will be on the shelves. Since this product seems to go so quickly why doesn't Walmart stock more of it? Even when I've ordered online, getting my order is iffy. But it's a good product and I recommend.
