Spalding 60-Inch Portable Basketball Hoop with Acrylic Backboard, Screw Jack Lift & Arena Slam Rim-Outdoor Play

Once we got the goal put together, it was great! It took us at least 8 hours over 2 days. We had some trouble getting the pole pieces to fit together and that took quite a bit of time. Once we got those three pieces together, the rest of the assembly was pretty straight-forward. My husband had to google videos for a few things because the directions aren't super clear in some areas. Make sure to get all of the pieces facing the way they need to. We put 450 lbs. of playground sand in the base and it seems to holding it pretty steady. We may also put some blocks on the base to make sure it doesn't tip over. The rim height is easy to adjust. We didn't think about this until it was too late, but because the backboard is clear, the afternoon sun shines through and makes it a little difficult to pay. I wish we had thought about it before we put it where we put it...which was our only option of where to put it. Something to think about...

This goal is great! My family loves this thing and so do I. Assembling this was a nightmare. I used to build and repair heavy machinery for a living I assumed the reviews on this being a horrible build were from less experienced purchasers. I was wrong. The instructions were horrible. The person who wrote these needs a kick in the butt. The video for the build was horrible as well. Be prepared to have to take this thing apart a couple times to re do steps that are incorrectly stated in the instructions. Heres my bottom line. This goal is nice! We love it! Your family will love it to! The build on the other hand stinks to say it lightly. 5 out of 5 stars goal and a 1 out of 5 stars build. PS-Make sure you have saw horses to balance this thing on during assembly. This is vital to a safe build. You will need a drill wrenches, sockets, etc to complete this thing. Hope this helps.
