Ligustrum Sunshine is from the Southern Living Plant Collection. The bright, golden foliage of this evergreen plant is beautiful year-round and adds a great color contrast to varying shades of greens in the landscape. ‘Sunshine’ is a striking plant when planted in mass or as an accent plant. It makes a delightful hedge. ‘Sunshine’ grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. It grows 3- to 6-feet tall and 3- to 4-feet wide and can be pruned as needed. For healthy shrubs water until plants are established. Then simply water as needed. Feed shrubs with an all purpose fertilizer at the beginning of the spring season at the base of the shrub.
