Great Value for the price point.
I opened the box and my first reaction was, "what did I just purchase?" because the headboard is made of particle board with a laminate black finish. but after assembling the headboard, I realized that this was sturdy and looked great also it did the job. My overall thought was that this is a great value for the price point. Very happy with this purchase, also the shipping was exceptionally fast.

Great headboard for the price
Headboard is very nice. It has the contemporary style that I like. It contained a lot of pieces and lots of hardware but if you read and follow the directions carefully anyone can put it together. It's very heavy so it's a two person job to set it up. The shelf is not very deep but you can clearly see that from the picture. They have votive candles displayed on the shelf. It is not much deeper than the width of a cell phone. My only complaint is that it didn't come with the necessary bolts to attach it to the metal bed frame. That meant a trip to the harware store. Other than that it is study, stylish, and easy to assemble. A great buy for the price.
