These Rod holders are great and made really well. The upper portion is hardened plastic but the black lower portion is all metal. The adjustable option is easy to use and I have used these a lot so far this spring. So far I've ordered 6 of these and will be ordering more. These run just a few cents more than the old metal style ones that aren't adjustable but they are well worth it. I've had 3 back surgeries so it's nice to have these rod holders up higher where I don't have to bend down so far to retrieve my fishing rod.

Ordered 6-7 of these as a try out. So far the best product to serve it's purpose. Over 2 feet long and can be mounted on soil or between rocks. Poles not needed to be tied down. Had a big catfish took the whole bait got hooked and pulled the pole off the rock. But the V shape mouter did stop the pole from getting dragged. Nice! all fishermen need to have this. I am writing this review so all details are answered and any of you can buy it without any worries. Simply the best in market.
