My aunt recommended these (along with a prenatal vitamin) for joint pain relief. Since I didn't have prenatal vitamins, I substituted a woman's one-a-day and still got results. My wrists and thumbs were so sore that opening a water bottle was too painful and required assistance. So 2 alfalfa tablets and a chewable and I am functioning. Sometimes, I have to take more alfalfa as the day goes on, but hey, they're good for you and the recommended dose is 6 per day. Plus I love how green they smell. Win-Win!
