Yes, you can buy these at the dollar store for a lot cheaper; however, you will not get the color options or the quality that you do with these. These hold their shape well. They are also slightly larger than the ones you buy at the dollar store. Most people will probably buy these to use in those cube bookcases. For that reason, I have included a picture of how this fits into one of those traditional bookcases with 12in x 12in cubes. I, however, am using it in a wardrobe that I also bought from Walmart. These cubes allow me to stack my clothes higher on the side shelves. I love the pastel colors. They have a slight gray undertone which I like because it keeps them from looking too childish.
