The cup is light weight so I was concerned about how hot the outside of the cup would get. I boiled water and put it in the cup, I was amazed the cup only got warm. I could hold the cup and never felt it was too hot to hold. Excellent cup, beautiful design (using it for a wedding reception), and great price.

Awful, flimsy cup. Falls apart with hot beverages. Do NOT buy this! Now I have to figure out a way to return it. Waste of my time.
