I think it is gonna work fine once I get it mounted. Mounting is super easy, just haven't done it yet. I will set it to come on dusk till dawn. It stays on continuously on a lower brightness, then when it detects motion, it gets brighter. I wish the continuous light was a little brighter. Might be a setting for that. Took me a while to figure out the button settings and/or the remote settings. But overall I am very pleased with this (quite inexpensive) purchase.

Light does put out a bright white light for about a 20-25' area or so. This is enough light to help you walk thru your yard or give you some entry light to get to your house. Mounting the light high will produce a larger lit spot but be aware the remote only works up to about 12' or so. I paid a few dollars extra to get this model due to the slightly different modes on the remote. This light does come with the mounting screws and batteries for the remote but may be stuffed in a hole so look well for them---they are there. Check measurements before ordering. The light isn't small but some pictures may make the light appear to be much larger than it really is. The remote works well but again, remember you have to be standing under the light to be in range. I don't think any of us know how long these lights will last but for now they do the job. I recommend it, just don't expect a commercial street light. It is more like a typical solar driveway or path light x 50.
