Snowy Beach Party is a new southern lilac variety that needs fewer chill hours than traditional lilacs to bloom in the spring. This lovely lilac has refreshingly fragrant panicles with sparkling white florets in mid to late spring. Ideal as a specimen plant or as a hedge, it tolerates many soil types, as long as they are well drained. With an excellent resistance to mildew and a cold-hardy nature, Snowy Beach Party Lilac is well suited for most Northern zones as well. Each offer includes one dormant bare root plant grown in a 4 inch pot. Space plants approximately 6 to 8 feet apart for best results. Blooms mid to late spring. Grows up to 12 feet tall. Prefers well drained garden soil enriched with humus.
