Ultimate Cold-,Weather Reliable Keypad Deadbolt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4th Schlage! This deadbolt is unmatched for reliability in extreme cold. Since it's not motorized, it never freezes or fails. Installation took under 10 minutes—just as easy as the one I bought 12 years ago! The lit buttons are perfect for dark nights, and the battery life is incredible. I skipped the "smart" features because I can easily manage multiple codes on the lock. The one-button quick lock is the ultimate convenience. Truly a dependable, winter-proof tank!

Regret we didn't get it sooner!
Install was a breeze. It went in without need to modify. The extra security without the ugly fixture is a major plus. We have a leaded oval glass wood door and purchased the keypad deadbolt to go with antique pitcher door latch and it looks beautiful. It provides both ornamental value and security while also helping with the teenager "lost my key again" issue. There is a manual back up so there is no worry of battery power loss lockout.
