It was just what I needed. To travel with and lock it down when out of my room with the cable.

First off this is a great safe. Keypad works great and it also has a keyed entry in case the batteries are dead or it's not plugged up. The rfid works flawless. Here's the catch the rfid is better in theory than in reality. The safe comes with two stickers a bracelet and a key fob. For one I'm not going to wear the bracelet when I'm around the house or while I'm sleeping so that's out. I'm also not going to carry around my keys all day long to use the key fob. Now I thought about putting the key fob somewhere easy to access but if you keep the key in the drawer right below the safe it could allow access to the safe by someone you didn't want in the safe. I got this safe to prevent my child from having access to my firearm while keeping it handy In case I need it. But if I put the key right next to the safe it defeats the entire purpose. The stickers are a pretty good idea but the sticker won't work from the inside of the phone case. I didn't really want a hornady sticker on the outside of my phone case all the time. I thought about placing the sticker on the bottom of something near by like a lamp or something but I still didn't like having a key with easy access even if it's hidden. I'm afraid my kid could find it. I end up never using the rfid and have disable all the rfid components. I just use the numbered keypad to access the safe. I wish I would have went the biometric route but don't get me wrong I'm not at all disappointed in this safe. Its just that the RFID doesn't work well for me and thats 95% of the reason I bought this safe. It's a good size. I keep a full sized Glock 17 with a weapon light in the safe. It also has room for an extra mag.
