Works great on a mild small block 360

I've been beating it up for several months now. The stall isn't what they claim. In fact, it isn't very noticeable. It starts to pull/grab around 1,600 RPM It grabs hard at 1,800 RPM in my 70' Duster and you know that's already a pretty light car. And I stripped a couple of hundred Lbs off it as well. So, this would have a slightly higher stall in a bigger/heavier car. The tiny 5/16 bolts are a dead give away that this converter is NOT meant for a hi-po motor. Been building cars/motors over 40 years. Though I didn't put this car on a dyno - I'm confident in saying it's around 300 horses. So, take all that with a grain of salt. And again, I've been mashing the throttle down to the floor an awful lot. I don't know if it can handle abuse like power-braking. But I'm on my second set of rear tires and the converter feels just as good today as it did when I first installed it 3-4 months ago. A strong YES - for my recommendation.
