The long-lasting formula kills more than 130 listed insects on contact, including listed ant types, fleas, aphids, whiteflies, mites, deer ticks, Japanese beetle adults, European crane flies and other listed insects. The ready-to-use spray is ideal for spot treatment. This formula won’t harm plants when used and stored as directed. For best results, apply Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer For Lawns & Landscapes early before insect populations are high. Wet leaves and branches to the dripping point. Try to spray the underside of leaves and penetrate dense foliage. When applying to vegetables, be sure to follow the important use limitations for the specific vegetable you are treating, including the intervals between treatments and the days to wait before harvest.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not allow children or pets into the treated area until dry. Do not water the treated area to the point of runoff. Do not make applications during rain. All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses: Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures Applications to lawns, turf and other vegetation Applications to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 ft. Other than applications to building foundations, all outdoor applications to impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches and structural surfaces (such as windows, doors and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications only. Application is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application. In New York State, this product may not be applied to lawns within 100 ft of a coastal marsh, or stream that drains directly into a coastal marsh.

I have used other products from this brand with great success so I didn't doubt it would work. I applied this Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer For Lawns & Landscapes Concentrate 40 oz to my back yard and patio area in the evening and figured I'd need to wait several days before I could tell if it worked or not but there was a noticeable difference within 2 days! Application was easy smell was not terrible and didn't linger. It is working well.
