It is important that you feed Pro Plan to your adult cat “free choice” throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Watch your cat’s weight and adjust food amounts accordingly. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding an appropriate Pro Plan kitten formula. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. FEED PRO PLAN PRIME PLUS ADULT 7+ FORMULAS For maximum benefit, feed this product exclusively or mix with any of the flavors of Pro Plan Prime Plus Classics Wet Entrées Adult 7+ cat food. When feeding Prime Plus dry only, please refer to the feeding chart for recommended daily amounts based on your cat’s body weight. When feeding dry and wet Prime Plus together, decrease the daily amount of dry Prime Plus by 1/4 cup for every 3 oz can of wet Prime Plus offered. Quality my kitties LOVE
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My two cats are 10-12 years old and I started them on this food about 6 months ago. They have so much energy, and their coats are softer than ever. The younger kitty has had coat issues for a while, but now she's in much better shape. It's a bit pricier than I wanted to pay but it's worth it for the little ones. These cats aren't quite picky, so it's not shocking they loved this food right away.

Kami is difficult regarding food and she loved it
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Kami has a congenital condition that obliged a vet to remove her teeth at age five ( now eleven ). She eats wet and dry (which she tastes and swallows whole). All her food is from Purina and she loves them both. We had her try every food available and she loved Purina only. We had to go to Pro Plan Plus for the probiotics to cut down the loose stools because all her food is practtically going down whole. Kami says Purina is all paws up!

This is the every day food for my three older cats, ages 9, 12, and 16. The food does a great job of maintaining their weight, and we just supplement with the occasional treats. They all get good reports from their vet for weight and teeth.
