Dishwasher

Awesome dishwasher!! Does a great job. This GE dishwasher is the same as my prior GE dishwasher that lasted 17 years without ever seeing a service or repair in all those years!! Every appliance in my house is a GE product!! Thank you GE for making such dependable and wonderful appliances!!

Simple but nice

I bought this simple dishwasher thinking I will keep it several years and replace it again. So far so good. It was one of the cheapest ones and has been great so far. The only think I don't like is that you can not put larger cups/glasses in the top part because it's to low.

Great basic dishwasher

Don't know why all the negative reviews on this dishwasher. I had this same previous version which lasted over 20 years in our previous home. The Fridgedaire we just replaced this with was making a high pitched whine so decided to replace it before we had a flood. If you know how to load it and use both detergent cups, it has no problem washing dishes. You should also run the hot water before you start dishwasher to get all cold water out of line before starting. It's not the quietest, but it is much quieter than the 2004 we just replaced it with. And the dry option is adequate. If you are having problems with it washing, then you are overloading it. It's just the 2 of us and I was every 2 days, with no problems.
