I unpacked the box, charged the remote, plugged it in, and turned it on. The setup was very intuitive and easy. It figured out my TV brand and quickly got the volume control working. The interesting feature (which I haven,'t used very much) is the ability to plug ear buds into the remote and watch TV without disturbing anyone else in the room. I also put the Roku app on my smartphone so now it's like having 2 remotes.
