I'd almost lean toward a 4 star, but I think this item deserves notice. I was highly skeptical using this to replace the other main name-brand at first. I think the dust pickup capability might be a little lower than the other brand, coverage by the joint can be a little lower, and it doesn't have the firmer strips that can on occasion come in handy. I am also still annoyed they went for an 11 count like the competition instead of a 12 count, when we're often using these on two-handed dusters. Hower, this does have more volume and definitely superior build quality for a bargain, so I definitely recommend.

The long reach and light weight make it perfect

I needed something with an extra long handle which was still light weight so I could reach the spider's nests that get on our front porch roof every spring and summer. This works like a charm. I don't usually put a Swiffer duster refill on the second arm because I haven't needed it which saves money. I am able to reach all of the corners of the ceiling without worrying that I may scratch the paint or the glass panels along the side of the door. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I really like it the way it picks up the cobwebs it reaches up into the corners and places I can't get to like my ceiling fan is really good at picking stuff up it clings right to it. but one thing I will say fluffy cleaner parts that come off and you put back on it says you can wash them hand wash them in like a sink but that's not working out too well for me the big clumps of webs and dust it's hard to get out so I'm just going to throw them away and it came with extras so that's fine with me
