Although I checked 'like' on reliability, I have to state that the USB port did not charge my husband's iPad. Although it would have been nice to have, I didn't buy it for that feature so it is not a game changer for me. I bought it for the cord length. I have to assume that Protection will be good. Having 8 outlets with three of them spaced out allows for larger plugs. A nice feature.

Tripp-Lite surge protector has good reviews when I looked up the best recommended surge protectors and strip extensions. Would be nice if the device came in an additional color to black like gray. Hard ti see device under my work, computer desk. Every cord is black. Function lights are bright and clear which lets me know that the surge protector is working.
