My small 13 year old Pomeranians have eaten this brand and type since they were 1 (they ate Iams puppy food before then). Iams has something in it that keeps their feces small and compact, making it easier to clean up. They love the taste and the very small pieces are easy to eat, even for my one dog with few teeth.
