Brother CM350 ScanNCut 2 Electronic Cutting Machine

This little machine is so neat! It is basically an automatic cutter that will cut paper, cardstock, fabric, and vinyl etc. You load your various medium (paper, vinyl etc) onto the mat which it comes with and then you use the software to design. The biggest feature I love about this machine is that the software is web based! Instead of having to use the computer and load some kind of software that utilizes your computer space, you create an account with Brother and all the software is there online! That means you can also utilize a tablet with this machine, which you are not able to do with other similar cutting machines. You can download different projects and see instructional videos on the Brother website as well. Another huge plus that it is a Brother brand, and will read some embroidery files. I have a Brother Embroidery machine, so I am so excited to utilize existing files without having to buy new ones. This machine will also scan. You scan your item and then the machine recognizes them and allows you to cut around the shapes. Great for making cards or stickers! I also love the fact that this is a totally wireless machine. There are no cords to keep track of and designs can be sent from your computer or tablet right to the machine. However to utilize this feature you have to have the “online scan card.” Without the card you still put the design on a USB stick and put it right into the Brother. I do wish this card automatically came with the machine to utilize the wireless feature right out of the box instead of buying an additional card. I also wish this came with more tools or some kind of starter kit. This machine comes with one sticky mat. The actual product of this cutting machine is second to none. Blade settings etc are super easy to adjust without any tools. Great product.

Brother ScanNCut2 Home and Hobby Cutting Machine This machine does not come with an activation card, as per instructions on the quick setup guide which tells you to register your machine with ScanNCutCanvas YOU DO NOT NEED THE ACTIVATION CARD TO USE MACHINE. The best thing about this machine is you can scan your drawing or download clipart etc. from your computer, save it on a pin drive, take your pin drive insert it into the ScanNCut2 machine save the image you want to the machine, when ready to cut your image all you have to do is pull it up on the ScanNCut2 machine, lay your paper on the standard mat which comes with the machine along with the other accessories. I made diapers for my grands baby doll, I search on the intenet for a pattern for baby doll diapers, saved it on pin, then onto the ScanNCut2 machine, placed paper on the machine mat, pulled up image, selected image to print, with my pattern and a little creativity I layered the diapers (material, garbage bag and white piece of material) this diaper was made for a baby alive doll. The diapers came out nice the plastic layer in between to stop leakage work great and diapers can be washed over and over again. I can't tell you how much I love this machine, my son scan and cut images a butter fly, bears, etc. There are other accessories you can purchase such as an additional fabric mat, this machine is awesome and will allow you to be creative in so many ways.
