Great tool for the job

I purchased this jack for a different use than installing transmissions. We built an attachment that allows us to install axles on the triple axle trailers that we build. This jack has worked excellent for our needs. It rolls very easy with the weight on it. The pump and hydraulics are accurate and smooth. Well made unit.

It's too tall for most work. You'll need the vehicle lifted nearly 4ft off the ground just to clear the transmission and the jack.
