this is a top notch printer.photos are high quality.i have used brother printers for years.this epson prints high end photos and is very impressive.it is heavy so you can tell it is a high quality item.love the ink tanks i have printed maybe 50 photos and ink has not even moved yet in tanks.so a very good value for ink. ink will probably last me a year printing photos and regular letter prints.yes it is high priced but you get what you pay for.

Perfect match for my needs and intentions, to make inkjet note cards for mailing to friends, using a fine Italian-crafted art paper that does not work well with laser-printed images. The features are common sensical, the controls and texts on the LED screen straightforward. Most gratifying is the relatively more economical use of ink by the refillable tanks as opposed to the old-fashioned plastic prefilled ink cartridges.

I've had this printer for a year now and absolutely love it! No more cassette ink cartridges!!! I have always bought Epson printers, ever since I started using computers/printers in the 90's, because I love how the Epson printers print photos! And, I always buy genuine Epson inks, too. Highly recommend this printer!
